About Our Chapter

On behalf of the Alabama Gamma chapter of Pi Beta Phi, I'd like to welcome you to our website! The mission and vision of Pi Beta Phi is to promote friendship, develop women of intellect and integrity, cultivate leadership potential, and enrich lives through service and our core values are integrity, lifelong commitment, honor and respect, personal and intellectual growth, philanthropic service to others, and sincere friendship. The mission and vision, along with the core values, are something the women of Alabama Gamma stay true to achieving and upholding.

Our chapter was chartered on Auburn's campus in 1957 and we are so humbled to have continued 66 years as a part of the Panhellenic community. The Panhellenic community is strong and diverse, with 18 sororities total, and through living the core values and our mission the women of Pi Beta Phi continue to strive towards contributing to and providing a premiere Greek Life experience at Auburn. Throughout our years at Auburn, Pi Beta Phi has established a standard for excellence. We have women from over twenty five different states! Even though our members come from all over the United States, they have found a community and family within Pi Beta Phi like no other. This sorority brings women together from different backgrounds and with different perspectives to achieve the common goal of developing and empowering the women we are lucky enough to call sisters.

On a weekly basis, our members attend a chapter meeting to help inform them about Pi Phi happenings as well as to educate and encourage members about what is going on within the chapter, campus, and community and how to participate. We have intramural teams, participate in Panhellenic, Interfraternity Council, and National PanHellenic Council philanthropy events, socials, sisterhood events, and formals! We provide well rounded opportunities for our chapter members to participate in in hope that each member can leave Pi Phi having a diversified network within the campus and community, as well as a variety of skills to apply her experiences beyond her college years.

I sincerely have Pi Beta Phi to thank for giving me the courage, the confidence, and the conviction to pursue my dreams. Because of Pi Beta Phi, these dreams have turned into reality because of the unwavering love and support from the finest women I have ever had the pleasure of surrounding myself with; my sisters. Wherever you find your home, I hope that you are brought the same, relentless joy that Pi Beta Phi has brought me.

Pi Phi Love and Mine,
Annelise James - Chapter President
